Berden Village Hall is the focus of many local activities (see “Events” and “Other Village Organisations” pages).

It opens at 8pm every Friday for members of the Sports & Social Club and their guests to enjoy Pool, darts, table tennis and other games. The bar is open until late and welcomes new and existing members. It is also open on Sundays for a lunchtime drink between 12pm to 3pm, subject to availability of the Village Hall. The first Friday of every month is Family Night where families with children of all ages are welcome from 6.30pm to socialise and play games. On many Family Nights in Summer a local food van will be on hand, the Events page will have details of these occasions.

It has a newly refurbished kitchen and toilets with all the necessary crockery and cutlery to cater for up to 90 people. It is popular with parents holding children’s parties because of its size and also there is a large fenced off area which enables children in the summer to go outside to play, many local groups also use it as their chosen venue.
